It is basically an album of 121 black and white photographs depicting members of the Romanov family particularly Grand Duke Kirill's line from the late 19th century to Grand Duchess Maria Vladimirovna. The book also features a meticulously drawn genealogical map of the Romanov family.
It was printed in Russian and published in Paris in1957. The front cover is illustrated with the heraldry of the Romanov family. There are 129 pages with an index to the photographs, printed on coated paper stock throughout. It is a scarce book showing members of the royal family in the late 19th century up until the mid 20th century. The photographs depict individual members as well as scenes of the extended imperial family both during the Russian empire and in exile.
