The watch has been made specially for the Imperial Russian market, with a fine enamel dial written in Russian for the date and days indications. The rear case depicting an enamel portrait of Tsar Alexander III. The watch has been awarded to the army officer Colonel Sergey Bobikov. The watch comes from Bobikov's family estae, together with his original CDV photo and award bronze Jeton for Coronation of Alexander III. Sergey Bobikov was sent to the liberated Bulgaria to help in the opening of the first Bulgarian military academy.
