Made of VERY heavy gauge of silver. Excellent original antique condition with minimum amount of normal wear, absolutely no problems or repairs. Original gilding inside is excellent. Each piece is marked under the base and on the lid with Russian silver hallmarks for St Petertsburg, 84 silver standard.
Aron Lydikain (Lydicke) silversmith, born 1819, had a shop and retail store in St. Examples of his work are in the collection of State Historical Museum in Moscow (Postnikova-Loseva book, page 187).
