Antique56 Zolotnik Gold Imperial Russian Demantoid Garnet Pendant 1908-17 RARE

  

In a stylized bow with a spray of gemstones consisting of numerous round, oval and pear shape Russian demantoid garnets with horsetail inclusions, together with one natural ruby and three synthetic rubies. Stamp: MT 56 (Russian Maker's Mark) Weight: 10.9 grams Dimensions: 6.6 x 3.8 cm Cataloguers Note: Some of the small green stones have been replaced with emerald and green paste, however the largest stones test positively as demantoid garnet from the Ural mountains of Russia. Condition: One stone is missing from the setting.

The pendant is in overall good condition.
