We are delighted to offer this wonderful 6-piece set of antique Russian silver cloisonne spoons - unfortunately, we were unable to identify the silversmith "EO" or the Jeweller who retailed this, however, should you be native in Russian/know about this matter, we would be grateful for your shared knowledge. The set comes in its original fitted box with the jeweller's logo stamped to the inner lid and the box closes securely with a clasp at the front. The cloisonne enamel spoons present a wonderful and desirable array of colours ranging from red, blue, green and magenta/purple, all of which are tightly and accurately filled within the'cloisons'.

Underneath the enamelling is a gilt base and the bowl of the spoon is also lightly gilt with a nice amount of natural fading from its natural age and usage. The stem of the spoon features two sections: one straight and one area which features a classic'twisted' design. The handle of the spoon is equally intricate with thin alternating panels of green and magenta/purple cloisonne enamelling and a beaded top with blue enamel.

The overall proportion and aesthetics of the spoons are very fine and intricately crafted - all the cloisons sit tightly with symmetry within the confined and minute spaces these spoons provide. Each Spoon is marked with the Maker's Mark "EO" and the'spade' shaped Kokoshnik 84 mark with the Delta Symbol signifying its origin in the Moscow region. A wonderful and exemplary set of antique Imperial Russian silver cloisonne-work and enamelled spoons. Ideal for those who are looking to acquire some fine Russian silver with its original retailer's box and set. Iconic and desirable Russian Cloisonne enamelling. Size (mm) L:110mm W:22mm. Size (inches) L:4.33 H:0.86. Weight: 74 grams combined (2.61 oz). Antique condition with no major damage or issues. For accuracy: there are some very minor enamel loss, however, due to its small size, seen from afar, it is not noticeable.
