The opposite scroll's inner swirl is set with smaller demantoids and the apex of the scroll is set with a bright pink-red spinel. The outer edge of this side is a knife-edge band.
The scrolls are clever reverse images of one another, with opposite features. The single bright spinel balancing the contrasting greens of the demantoids. The design is very clever and has a lyrical, musical quality in addition.Typical of the Art Nouveau elongated, elegant sensibility. Marks and Metal: Round and shovel shaped marks. The Shovel shaped mark includes a woman's head facing righ, 56 for 14k gold and a triangle indicating the Moscow assay office. Condition: Good with minor dings and wear commensurate with age. Please see enlarged pictures and don't hesitate to ask questions which we will do our best to answer.
