Antique Russian Imperial 840 Silver & Niello Snuff Box Circa 1886 of rectangular form, antique Russian Imperial 840 standard silver and niello snuff box, hand decorated with the zig-zag frame ornaments centered with niello scenic plaque depicting street view of Moscow buildings, set with-in scrolling leaf like side designed hand hammered ground.

The back panel decorated with Slavic zig-zag motif & checker board design with each side ornamented with criss-cross ornaments. Gild interior, extra clean, each element hallmarked. Overall very good condition, no damage to niello, slight dent to the right side of the box. Very Pleasant Design & Has an Excellent Feel Primarily Due to Well Preserved Condition marked: 84 standard silver, circa 1886, IG Moscow, assay mark B. Cyrillic's length 2.8 in.
