This is an old ultra rare russian book. Publisher: Edition of the Partnership I. Binding: Hard publishing art with embossing and bas. In brown full-fabric (calico) publishing binding of the era with a metal bas-relief. Composite endpapers made of paper with floral ornaments. This edition is the first and only illustrated edition of Leo Tolstoy's works published before 1917.

In 1913, it was I. Sytin's publishing house that first received the right to publish the complete works of the great Russian writer. All illustrations - on separate sheets, protected by thin parchment paper, many beautiful illustrations.
