The Order of Saint Vladimir was an Imperial Russian order established on 22 September 1782 or 4 October 1782 by Empress Catherine II in memory of the deeds of Saint Vladimir, the Grand Prince and the Baptizer of the Kievan Rus'. ANTIQUE IMPERIAL RUSSIAN ORDER OF SAINT VLADIMIR, 4th CLASS. CIRCA LATE 19th - EARLY 20th CENTURY. Size of the cross is 38 x 38 mm not including the loop. Marked on the loop with Russian "56" gold mark (indicates 14k gold standard) and unreadable maker's mark.

Also marked on the side with Russian state control mark. Excellent original antique uncleaned condition, shows minor expected age wear. Very minor imperfection to top side of the front center medallion.

Very minor imperfection to bottom side of the back center medallion (imperfection to the front and back center medallions are extremely minor, virtually unnoticeable and mentioned just for 100% accuracy). No problems to red enamel on both sides.
