Antique Imperial Russian Faberge silver Easter Egg relic holder, painted icon! This unique egg has been made by Faberge's head workmaster Mikhel Perkhin. Hallmarked with his initials M in Russian and with 84 silver hallmark with St. When you open the egg it reveal a hand painted icon of Virgin Mary and baby Christ. The icon can be removed to reveal the relic holder container.It still contain an ancient hand written piece of paper. The front side is engraved an Ortodox cross. On the rear side is engraved in Russian Church-Slavonic style "Christ is Risen". The egg comes with the original luxury presentation birchwood box signed in Russian Faberge, St. The egg is 70mm high, 45mm in diameter, 102g heavy.
