Ntique Imperial Russian Cloisonne Enamel Sterling Silver Watch Fob with Concealed Decorative Dagger to use as Cigar Pricker or Toothpick by Apollo Sukachev. Very nicely crafted in several sections. The top has a swivel clip to attach it to a watch. Below this is a crescent, cradling a star. It can be a reminder of the wars of those times going on in the Caucasus, the region of Russia, Chains hang from this suspending a long tapered slender pendant, which holds decorative dagger. The dagger fits neatly into the scabbard. This is hallmarked with "84" for the silver content. It also is marked with an "AC". My search in the catalog show that the stamp belongs to jewelry master Apollo Sukachev , not an silversmith inspector Anton Solodilov who works in same city, a person with the same initials that often causes confusion (See the picture with the comparison of stamps) Also it bears standard'kokoshnik' mark used between 1908 and 1926. Tipe of marks shows belonging to region Kostroma, Russia. The condition is very good. Enamel has no visual brakes. Lock functions fine (shown on the picture) and the dagger sits well in the scabbard. Measures approximately 6-3/4" in total length by 1". The removable sword in its holder measures approximately 4.
