A Russian ormolu and cut Amethyst glass centerpiece with three bronze swans attributed to the. Imperial Glass factory in St. And date to the middle XIX century. Probably after a design by Ivan Ivanov. The removable cut Amethyst glass bowl sits on an ormolu sculpture of three impressive swans, very finely hand chiseled with core bronze gilding. A really fabulous and magnificent centerpiece for demanding collectors. One arrowed edge is round (see pictures). Otherwise in good original condition with no structural damages; only discoloration consistent with age. Diameter of amethyst glass bowl is 26.5 centimeters.
